Television actress, Amy Carlson is known for her starring roles in some of the most popular television series like “Blue Bloods,” and “Third Watch.”

Such roles have endeared her to many fans around the world, but she maintains a close bond with her family, as seen in a recent picture she shared on Instagram.

“Blue Bloods” star, Amy Carlson has been enjoying summer with her family, and she shared a moment from their time with her fans on her Instagram page.

AMY CARLSON’S INSTAGRAM POST AND REACTIONS

The beautiful actress shared a beautiful groupie picture featuring her family members, with the sea behind them, and the clouds bearing the marks of the setting sun.

In Amy’s caption, she revealed how much she enjoys spending time with family:

“The most precious moments of summer spent with family. #summervibes ☀ #family #sisters ❤ ?#gratefulforfamily.”

A few of Amy’s fans who commented wished the actress and her family a great summer and stated that they were missing the “Blue Blood” series so much. A comment that is worthy of note was from @chloe_raven56 who said that Amy was so awesome on the series.

She then begged Amy to respond to her comment, as it would mean the world to her. Amy duly obliged and responded by sending Chloe big summer hugs.

A FEW FACTS ABOUT AMY CARLSON’S FAMILY

Amy was born on July 7, 1968, in Glen Eilyn and got married to Syd Butler in 2004. Syd Butler is a guitarist and bass player and plays for the band known as Les Savy Fav.

He also owns and founded the record label, Frenchkiss Records. The couple has two children, daughter, Lyla, who was born in 2006, and son, Nigel, born in 2009.

AMY’S CHARACTER ON "BLUE BLOODS"

Amy Carlson played the character of Linda Reagan, wife of NYPD cop, Danny Reagan on the popular series, but left the show after her character died in a helicopter crash in the series’ seventh season.

After her character’s death confirmed the end of her time on the series, Amy took to Instagram to thank her fans for their generous support during her seven years as a cast of “Blue Bloods,” and added that she enjoyed playing the role so much.

The CBS series was renewed for a tenth season which will hit the screens in the fall.
