Page Six: Jamie Foxx Calls Singer Sela Vave ‘Next Beyoncé' after Shutting down Dating Rumors

Jamie Foxx reportedly referred to his rumored girlfriend, Sela Vave, as “the next Beyonce” after denying their relationship.

Jamie Foxx admired his close friend and complimented her by calling her the “next Beyonce,” Page Six reported. Sources said that he has been grooming Sela Vave for stardom and introducing her to high profile business talents.

“Jamie is saying that Sela is an amazing singer, that she’s ‘the future Beyonce.,’” one source said. “He’s introducing her to his friends in the music and entertainment industry -- and getting her to sing on the spot to show off her talents.”

Foxx looked “very attractive” to the rising talent when they were spotted out, and seemed to really believe in her potential as a singer. However, he denied dating the 25-year-old as she is too young -- the same age as his daughter Corinne.

While some may point out that Vave moving in with Foxx shows signs of a relationship, he simply argued that past singers such as Ne-Yo, Ed Sheeran, and Nick Cannon were under his wing as well as their careers were starting.

As for the issue of splitting up with his ex, Katie Holmes, Vave addressed the issue of being a third party on social media after receiving backlash from different people. She wrote:

“You can keep talking and calling me a whore, slut, home wrecker, thot, gold digger, that I should die… Because it doesn’t matter to me, I’m out here to work and do what I love most.”

Holmes reportedly confirmed the break up with her friends during a meal together at La Esquina restaurant in New York, saying that they “haven’t been together for months.”

The former couple maintained a private life throughout their relationship, which is why getting confirmation on the speculation may be quite difficult. However, actions speak louder than words as Foxx was seen out with different girls in Hollywood last week.
