'Sister Wives' Star Maddie Brown Gives Birth to Daughter Named after Grandfather Kody

A TLC “Sister Wives” reality star revealed in January that she was expecting her second child with her husband. On Thursday, she shared a lovely picture of her baby girl.

Maddie Brown Brush, 23, took to Instagram to reveal that she’d given birth to her second child with husband Caleb Brush, 32. The post also noted that the baby daughter was named Evangalynn Kodi Brush.

Brown Brush included an adorable image of her baby girl. The reality television star noted in her caption that the little girl was “born right on time and just right on 8/20.”

Evangalynn weighed 8 lbs.,12 oz., and measured 21 inches long when she was born. Her parents also share a son named Axel James, 2, who was born in May 2017.

Brown Brush is the daughter of “Sister Wives” stars Kody and Janelle Brown. She also stars on the show and has done so since 2010 when the series began.

Brown Brush and her husband were married in June 2016 after he proposed to her on an ATV ride. Unlike her polygamous family, the reality star revealed that she and Brush would be monogamous.

In 2015, her husband said:

“We support Maddie’s family with their choice of living plural marriage and they support us with our choice in just marrying each other.”

Their son was the first grandchild for the Browns. Brown Brush initially shared the news of her second pregnancy in January saying she was “really excited.” She noted how the pregnancy felt unreal for her “for some reason.”

Speaking about the child’s possible gender, the star revealed that she had “no idea” what sex the child could be. However, she clarified that she would “just be happy with a healthy baby.”

In April, the couple revealed the baby’s gender by hosting an event at their North Carolina home. Family members from Flagstaff, Arizona, and other areas in the country were Skyped in for the special occasion.

A gender reveal occurred with the couple setting off poppers that exploded in pink confetti. Brush was also quite excited about having a baby girl saying he’d “made the ultrasound tech check three times.”

Brown Bush’s mother is one of four wives including Meri, Christine, and Robyn, and she has five other siblings: Logan, 24; Hunter, 21; Garrison, 20; and Gabriel, 18, and Savannah, 13.

When Brown Brush and her husband discovered she was pregnant, one of her concerns was how her son would handle the news. She said: “I think he’ll be a little jealous at first” because of how attentive they had been to him all these years.

"Sister Wives" season 14 has not yet officially been announced but has reportedly begun filming.
