Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt have joined millions of their fans to be excited about the revival of the sitcom "Mad About You" by Spectrum Originals.

On Saturday, the co-stars were at The Paley Center for Media's 2019 PaleyFest Fall TV Previews, and they dished on the joy!

While speaking to PEOPLE, Paul spoke for himself and his on-screen wife saying:

"It was kind of pinch ourselves kind of joy. It was just like a really warm, wonderful feeling that here we are and we're all aware of like how lucky we are to all be alive, healthy, doing this — playing in a show that we love, that we all had seven great years on."

The 62-year-old went on to joke that the reunion with his co-star and other cast members felt like returning to his second year of college. He then made a reference to colleague Richard Kind delivering his lines. Reiser added:

"I keep telling people, it's like getting together with old friends that you haven't seen. There's no awkwardness. You hit the ground running, and that's how it felt with this show."

In March, Spectrum Originals announced they were picking up a "Mad About You" limited series.

It was reported that Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt would return to the screen as married couple Jamie Stemple Buchman and Paul Buchman, respectively, in the Sony Pictures Television-produced reboot.

Soon after the announcement, Reiser and Hunt released a joint statement as stated by The Hollywood Reporter, which read:

"We are so excited to finally be doing this and thrilled to have Peter Tolan as our fearless captain. We promise you the same funny and heartwarming show — as soon as we can remember what's funny about being older. It's going to be great!"

According to Entertainment Weekly, the premiere date for the sitcom's revival is November 20. The first six episodes will premiere on this day while another six episodes drop on December 18.
