The Daly Family's IVF Journey
Moore was 46-years-old when she met her husband, and after just months of courtship, they decided to get married. Marc and Kenya knew that after getting married, they wanted to have a child. However, due to Kenya nearing her 50s, it's difficult for her to conceive traditionally. That is why they decided to do IVF.
The reality TV star administered her own hormonal shots, and according to Marc, she was "a trooper" throughout their entire journey. As for how she felt doing it, Kenya said:
“It’s weird because you hear other people’s troubles with the injections and the hormones. And for me, it was a pretty simple process.”
The Challenges Along the Way
However, while people would easily think it was a one-and-done process for the couple, it took a few months for them to succeed. At first, Kenya flew to an island to get help from a clinic that has great success rates for getting women pregnant through IVF. It ended up failing for them.
Persistent, they went to another doctor in the US who could help them, and the IVF worked. Now, at 47, Kenya and Marc are parents to an adorable little girl, whom they call Brooklyn.
The Adorable Brooklyn Daly
Now, Brooklyn Daly is growing up to be an adorable little girl, and her mom's fans can't get enough of her. At nine months, she is already standing on her own two feet, and her proud parents can't contain their excitement.
On Moore's caption, she wrote: "Standing!!!! #brookiecookie #miraclebaby #love #happybaby."
God's Beautiful Work
Fans of the family shared their own reactions to the photo, sending love to the mother-and-daughter duo. While a lot praised the little girl's beauty, there was one particular fan who reflected on the fact that Kenya's chances of getting pregnant at 46-years-old were slim, but the impossible happened.
"When they thought this could never happen, look at God's work."
Indeed, God's beautiful work in the form of baby Brooklyn has brought light and love to many people, especially her doting parents, Marc and Kenya, who could only ever dream of this moment before it finally happened.
