AUDREY SENDS OUT A MESSAGE OF COMFORT TO PASTOR JARRID'S FAMILY
Although the picture is adorable, Audrey's sad sentiments in the caption douse the joy of seeing the picture. The message started with the "Little People, Big World" star sharing how emotionally tasking the past few weeks have been for their family. She shared that it has been full of "some pretty intense roses and thorns."
Audrey wrote:
"We've celebrated weddings, birthdays, and big milestones in our work, but we've also been mourning the loss of our friend @jarridwilson."
She then explained how devastating it had been to receive news of Pastor Jarrid's sudden demise and how little Ember had tried to offer comfort in her own little way possible.
Then came Audrey's hopes for the family of the deceased pastor as she shared that Pastor Jarrid and his wife, Juli, "have been such faithful encouragers and good friends."
She wrote:
"This past week, I just keep thinking about @itsjuliwilson and her two boys and praying in desperation. Praying that Lord would give those boys peace that surpasses understanding."
AUDREY IMPLORES BELIEVERS TO DISCARD WRONG BELIEFS ABOUT MENTAL ILLNESSES
The prayers continue as the 28-year-old expressed concern for Juli and generally for people like Pastor Jarrid who suffer from different forms of mental illnesses.
The lengthy message comes to a close with Audrey raising concern that mental illnesses are still tied to stigma and even more, "especially in the church."
She finished her message sharing how she has come to realize that her little daughter has more compassion than most adults. She concluded:
"Sometimes, people just need you to sit with them, wipe their tears, and blow. We love you, Jarrid."
Albeit emotional, the message is an eye-opener for fans with many taking to the comments section to laud Audrey's openness. A few, however, noted how adorable the picture really is especially after reading Audrey's message about little Ember's efforts of trying to comfort her.
Ember is the only child born to Audrey and her husband of five years, Jeremy Roloff with the couple expecting a child. A People article, dated July 1, shares that the couple's unborn child is male and that the expected date of delivery is sometime in January 2020.
