John Travolta's Wife Kelly Preston Hugs Their Daughter Ella Bleu in National Daughters Day Photo

Kelly Preston posted a sweet photo with her daughter, Ella Bleu, in celebration of National Daughters Day: “It is the greatest joy to be your mom.”

Kelly Preston is a proud mom to her only daughter, Ella Bleu, whom she shares with her husband, John Travolta. The actress recently celebrated the unofficial holiday, National Daughters Day, by honoring Ella in an Instagram post.

“#nationaldaughterday my most incredible baby girl I love you so much… it is the greatest joy to be your mom,” she wrote.

The post came with a close-up photo of the mother-daughter-duo hugging each other while smiling at the camera. Ella was among the many who commented, saying “Thank you” with heart emojis.

Being born to such talented individuals only means inheriting their skills, and so Ella, like her parents, is slowly entering the entertainment industry.

“Since I was very little, I’ve loved performing, singing, dancing, and putting on shows at home for my family and friends,” she told PEOPLE. “In our house in Maine, we have this stage area set up with a little red curtain and my friends, and I would perform there.”

In 2009, Ella landed a small role in “Old Dogs” and this year in “The Poison Rose,” starring her father and Morgan Freeman. She also appears on press with her dad, including a segment on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The 19-year-old revealed that she seeks advice from her father when it comes to acting, which is “helpful” and “comforting” for her. “He’s the best mentor ever,” she described her father.

Last year, she also walked the red carpet with her whole family in the Cannes Film Festival, where the premiere of “Gotti” took place. Ella, dressed like her mom, wore a black floor-length tulle frock and a cropped cardigan.

The couple’s younger son, Benjamin, also joined them for the occasion. The couple initially had three kids, but unfortunately, their eldest son, Jett, passed away in 2009.
