'Basketball Wives:' Evelyn Lozada and OG Have a Heated Exchange on the Cast's Costa Rica Trip

Evelyn Lozada and fellow “Basketball Wives” star OG engaged in a fiery back-and-forth during the group’s Costa Rica trip. The drama played out on the latest episode of the VH1 series.

“Basketball Wives” fans felt the heat on Wednesday as OG stood up to Evelyn in defense of her friend and co-star Cece Gutierrez.

The Blast recounted the tension had been building among the cast members for weeks and the women were split into two sides.

One group had executive producer Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn, Malaysia Pargo, Kristen Thomas, and Feby Torres, while on the other side were OG, Cece, and Jackie Christie.

Things got to a head at a dinner where Cece confronted Evelyn, shooting off expletives at her and shocking everyone at the table with her boldness. Cece also had some words for Kristen, whose father-in-law Byron Scott, is her fiancé.

The dinner ended with both sides parting ways, but they met the next day at a pool party thrown by Shaunie. There, Kristen asked to speak with Cece, but after a snarky "are you going to let me finish," the latter stormed off.

Evelyn then ran after Cece, looking like she was ready for a fight. In a separate confessional, she said: "Is [Cece] just going to leave without my parting gift? I want to give her a piece of my mind."

The other women ran after Evelyn; OG, while trying to break things up, flung Evelyn into a nearby garden. See the video here. The tumble had Twitter users coming for the "Basketball Wives" longtime cast member who is best friends with Shaunie.

"I’m Glad Evelyn went rolling through the bush," one fan of the show wrote, while another mocked:

“Evelyn was not prepared!!! Like a bully!!! She’s not going to let that live...Evelyn’s ego is going to win and that’s why she winded up in the bushes.”

As it turned out, that was only the beginning of a war of words between Evelyn and OG. After Evelyn called OG “ugly,” the former football cornerback shot back: “Ochocinco wanted me!”

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson is Evelyn’s ex-husband, and OG claimed the former NFL star “wanted to get with me.” OG mentioning her ex seemed to rile Evelyn up, and she launched into an expletive-filled rant, complete with a vulgar movement of her lower region.

The season finale of “Basketball Wives” airs next week and fans will be waiting to see what becomes of Evelyn and OG’s feud. Already, Evelyn reportedly wants to get a restraining order against OG because she's said to be concerned about the latter’s “mental state.”

These two don’t look like they’ll be friends anytime soon.
