She shared two pictures of little Jeremy and Ember, products of her sons, Jeremy and Zach marriages respectively. The photos feature the cute duo all handled up to stay warm from the cold.
In the first photo, the pair were pictured holding hands and giving a bright smile for the camera while the second has them unawares as they sat amongst the many other people present.
While the children make a pleasing sight, Amy's caption holds sad undertones as she labeled the past week a "tough one." She wrote,
"It's been a tough week after hearing sad news. But these two - my grand kids Jackson and Ember - always make me smile and melt my heart️. Simply, Love them so much. #grandkids #imthankful #imblessed #amyroloffssecondact love being a grandma!"
Although just hours old, her post has gained attention on the internet and has caused messages of comfort for the 55-year-old star to troop in quickly. One fan wrote in the comments section:
"Amy Roloff and families, I'm so sorry for your loss. Grandma/Mom was a very special lady! My Deepest Sympathy for you all."
Many others, however, couldn't understand the post showing they are yet to get the latest update that Roloff's mother, Patricia, has indeed passed away.
PEOPLE has now aired confirmatory reports that Patricia Knight, aged 86, passed away at a Michigan hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 24 with her husband of 67 years, Gordon C. Knight, by her side.
The news was reportedly confirmed by Roloff herself via an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. Thankfully, she seems to be doing well as she shared that she finds comfort in the fact that Patricia "lived a happy, long life with my father."
May Patricia's soul rest in peace.
