The comedian took the guitar as his daughters sang a rendition of Taylor Swift's "Lover." The Hollywood Reporter's Chris Gardner caught the performance on video and posted it on Twitter with the caption:

"There are many, many highlights I recorded from tonight's #Rock4EB but this one is pretty special. @AdamSandler handling guitar duties while his daughters Sunny & Sadie sing @taylorswift13 "Lover."

Sandler revealed that his girls were a mix of "excited and nervous" before performing "one of their favorite songs" that they jam to on the road as a family. After the performance that earned a standing ovation, the actor said:

"Thank you for being so nice to them. They were dying to be part [of the show]. Girls, you did great! Sounded awesome -- confident and cool. I love you, now get out of here."

The event, which raised funds for a skin condition called epidermolysis bullosa, had A-listed Hollywood celebrities in attendance, including Julia Roberts, Courtney Cox, Elizabeth Olsen, Cindy Crawford, and Rami Malek among many others.

Sandler hosted the event in Malibu, California, alongside Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder. Both organizers took the stage to perform "Let My Love Open the Door" by Pete Townshend.

The "50 First Dates" star previously performed during his hosting of "Saturday Night Live" and paid tribute to his late friend and former SNL castmate, Chris Farley.

During Sandler's song, clips of the late actor were flashed on the screen, including some of his iconic roles, including the Lunch Lady and motivational speaker Matt Foley.

Many television icons praised the actor for his heartwarming dedication that had a handful of the audience in tears.
