Paula Deen Celebrates Her Triplet Grandchildren's First Birthday with a Sweet Photo
Paula Deen can't believe that a whole year has passed since her precious grandbabies were born.
On Wednesday, former cooking show host Paula Deen took to Instagram to celebrate a landmark for her granddaughters and grandson.
The two girls Olivia and Amelia sat in their father Bobby Deen's arms while little Linton was on his mom Claudia. The post is found below.
The most adorable family portrait
The two girls wore matching dresses. One had on a pink bando and another a blue one. At least one of the girls was enjoying the moment as she smiled open-mouthed next to her sister.
Meanwhile, Linton wore a blue ensemble and gazed off into the distance while his mom smiled alongside his father. Bobby wore a navy blue button-down shirt and his wife wore a light brown dress.
In the caption, Paula wrote:
"I can't believe these three gorgeous babies are a year old today. Where does the time go? Guinny loves her little fighters!"
The triplets' premature birth
The triplets are Bobby and Claudia's first kids, and they were born nearly four months premature. The trio remained in the hospital for months after their birth.
When they turned five months old, Claudia marked the landmark by sharing sweet sleeping photos of the triplets and giving fans an update on each of their weights.
Paula, who spoke about their arrival soon after they were born, said the triplets were backed by faith for their "long ride" until they would get to go home in January.
In the interim, Claudia revealed that she and Bobby used intrauterine insemination (IUI) to carry out their pregnancy. In an Instagram story, she offered to explain the procedure for the benefit of others.
A tainted legacy for all the Deens
The couple has been proud parents since their three kids entered the picture. Additionally, Bobby is also proud of his television legacy which he can largely credit his mom for.
Of course, Paula Deen's slate is not totally clean. The famous cookbook author was sued in 2013 for an incident of alleged racism when she had a plantation-themed wedding.
Bobby and his older brother Jamie used to appear regularly on their mother's cooking show and between them have published four cookbooks of their own.
Carving a new, shared path
They also run the family restaurant, The Lady & Sons, together. Bobby actually had his own show called "Not My Mama's Meals," which debuted on the Cooking Channel in 2012.

On it, he attempted to take a different route by putting a twist on many of his mother's recipes by creating healthier meals, desserts, and snacks for his fans.
After the show ended, Bobby and Jamie went onto star in their own show on Food Network called "Southern Friend Road Trip." Bobby has also co-hosted a number of televised cooking competitions and the show "Junk Food Flip" with Nikki Dinki.
Though he has been married since 2005, his two boys Jack Linton and Matthew James are one kid short of Bobby's bunch of three. Bobby and Claudia became husband and wife back in 2013.
