The Blast: Flavor Flav Reportedly Named as Father of Two-Month Old Baby Boy in Paternity Suit

Flavor Flav is possibly the father of an eighth child if a new paternity lawsuit filed against him proves he is in spite of his previous denial. The mother is a woman who works on his management team.

Flavor Flav is the subject of a paternity suit filed by a woman who worked in his management team.

THE LAWSUIT

According to The Blast, the 60-year-old rapper allegedly fathered a two-month-old boy named Jordan whose mother is Kate Gammell.

Gammell filed a paternity case demanding a test to prove that Flav is the father of her son especially since the “Public Enemy” singer denies this. In fact, he has reportedly cut off communication with Gammell since the issue of her son’s paternity was brought to his attention.

THEIR RELATIONSHIP

Gammell met Flav while she was still working for Chuck D. She later joined his team managing parts of his career such as his merchandise store and appearances.

Flav has seven children. Jordan is possibly his eighth. Last month, his three older children expressed their frustration over their father’s hesitation to help them with their music.

On his show, “Growing Up Hip Hop: New York,” Gammell’s pregnancy was also featured. In fact, scenes from her baby shower which Flav’s other children attended were captured. After giving birth, Gammell was also interviewed on the program.

THE DOCUMENT FILED IN COURT

As part of her paternity lawsuit, Gammell is demanding child support from Flav. A screenshot of a document filed in court in relation to the case reveals the child’s complete name, Jordan Reid Gammell born and date of birth, July 21, 2019.

It also lists Flav’s real name, William Jonathan Drayton, Jr. as the respondent to the case labeled in the document as a “DECLARATION UNDER UNIFORM CHILD CUSTODY JURISDICTION AND ENFORCEMENT ACT.”

A FAVOR FLAV DENIED HIS THREE CHILDREN

Flav has seven children. Jordan is possibly his eighth. Last month, his three older children expressed their frustration over their father’s hesitation to help them with their music.

In an episode of the rapper’s hit reality show, his two sons, William and Quan Drayton, and daughter Da’Zyna Drayton sought for their father’s attention to collaborate in music they were producing.

Though Flav teared up, impressed with the music they created, he hesitated to do them the favor and reasoned that he had more important meetings to attend to.

Da’Zyna explained her frustration saying her father couldn't even devote time for them and they weren’t even asking for a lot.

It seems Flav has quite a share of paternal issues on his plate lately. Let’s hope the issue of his alleged eighth child is solved soon so the little boy gets the attention he deserves if he is indeed Flav’s offspring.
