Tyrese of 'Fast & the Furious' & Wife Samantha Celebrated Daughter Soraya's 1st Birthday with Sweet Photos and Videos

Tyrese Gibson and his wife Samantha went all out to make sure their daughter’s first birthday was filled with fun and family. The couple shared photos and videos on Instagram to celebrate the big day.

Tyrese and Samantha’s daughter, Soraya Lee Gibson, turned one on October 1 and judging from their social media posts, both parents might have been more excited about the day than the birthday girl.

Samantha took to Instagram with a series of pictures, including one of her husband holding their daughter in a baby carrier and another of the birthday girl in a fancy kids’ tricycle.

"After embracing her love and joy for the last 2 weeks, we decided to share our answered prayer."

"Happy 1st Birthday to our amazing gift from God,” wrote the proud mom. "We love you, endlessly. I can’t believe you are 1 today. Where did the time go?"

"Ahhh snap... here the tears come," she added. "God used you to change me for the better."

On his part, Tyrese, 40, shared several pictures of his adorable family. The caption was both a celebration of Soraya’s life and a letter of appreciation to Samantha.

"One year ago, today you gave me my greatest gift, a healthy angel!" Tyrese began before revealing that his wife was also celebrating a career milestone:

"Happy 1st birthday love angel Princess Soraya Gibson OCT 1st!!! The day before our daughters first birthday you had a Dreams day a goal that started 7 years ago!!!! To get approved for your LCSW [Licensed Clinical Social Worker] status!!!!!! And that happened. So very proud of you as a wife, an amazing mother and my ride or die best friend."

Tyrese also shared a hilarious video of Soraya trying to find her way around a smash cake while the "Fast & Furious" star smeared her face with the dessert.

"Don’t do that to her. Stop!" Samantha yelled, playfully.

Tyrese and his social worker sweetheart tied the knot in a secret ceremony on Valentine’s Day 2017. According to Your Tango, Samantha is passionate about children and human trafficking victims and works on cases with the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) in Georgia.

The "Morbius" star’s wedding to Samantha came eight years after his split from ex-wife Norma Gibson with whom he shares a 12-year-old daughter, Shayla. Sadly, Tyrese and Norma have been at loggerheads for years over custody of their daughter.

NEXT COMES BABY

Tyrese and Samantha announced they were expecting a baby girl in April and welcomed their daughter six months later.

"Father God, we love you for delivering on your promise, princess Soraya Lee Gibson is here," Tyrese captioned an Instagram snap of Soraya’s footprints, adding the hashtag "Shayla’s Sister."

The new dad also shared a picture of himself stretched out on a sofa beside his daughter’s hospital bassinet and revealed Samantha was in labor for 30 hours. "My wife is the real champion here I have never seen this level of strength and will power," he gushed.

Two weeks later, Tyrese and Samantha finally shared full photos of their adorable daughter, leaving fans gushing over a series of professionally-shot images.

"We hesitated to post our angel," Tyrese admitted. "And after embracing her love and joy for the last 2 weeks, we decided to share our answered prayer."
