Nicki Minaj Reportedly Marries Boyfriend Kenneth Petty after Less Than a Year of Dating
It appears Nicki Minaj and her boyfriend Kenneth Petty have finally tied the knot after one year of dating and constant marriage speculations. The rapper just shared a video that appears to confirm the news.

On Monday, the "Super Bass" rapper took to Instagram with a clip showing a table with matching "Mr. and Mrs." mugs and white and black hats with the words "Bride" and "Groom."
Minaj and Petty’s love has been trailed with controversy ever since his criminal record surfaced.
Minaj captioned the short video with what is presumably her new name: "Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty" and her wedding date "10.21.19." She also added bride and groom emojis.
According to PEOPLE, a rep for Minaj has not responded to a request for comment, but the rapper’s comment section is already filled with fans and celebrity friends congratulating her.
"Congrats, Nick‼ U did it," La La Anthony wrote while model Winnie Harlow echoed: "So happy for you, Mrs. Bride, you deserve all the happiness in the world."
"Wowwwww, a blessin. Congratulations, Nick," rapper Maliibu Miitch added.
Per PEOPLE, Minaj, 36, and Petty, 41, have been dating since 2018. They went Instagram-official with their relationship in December of the same year.
Since then, the Queens rapper has not shied away from flaunting their love on social media with several PDA photos and videos, including one clip of her grinding against him at her birthday party.
Besides changing her Twitter name to Mrs. Petty, Minaj sparked marriage speculations in March after calling Petty "husband" during an episode of her "Queen Radio" show.
"Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought," she reportedly said. "He massages my feet and rubs them, and he rubs each toe individually."
During an August 12 episode of her show, Minaj also reportedly revealed that she had filed for a marriage license and would tie the knot in less than three months.
"We still had to pick it up, and I was traveling, by the time I came back, we had to renew it again," the rap goddess explained. "From that time, you have 90 days to get married. That was about a week ago, so now I have about 80 days."
A few days ago, Minaj also confirmed in an interview that she and Petty would be getting married in the next 15 days, and it looks like she’s made good on her word.
Minaj and Petty’s love has been trailed with controversy ever since his criminal record surfaced. Per E! News, Petty is a registered sex offender in New York and also received a ten-year sentence in 2006 after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter.
Minaj has since defended her man from the backlash, saying, per PEOPLE: "Y’all can’t run my life. Y’all can’t even run y’all own life. Thank you boo."
