It was a very emotional moment for 21-year-old Sailor, who broke down in tears right on stage and had Valentin trying his best to comfort her.

Valentin, who is a renowned professional dancer, sure makes the perfect mentor as he took to Instagram to further comfort Sailor.

Valentin shared a picture of himself and the young beauty in what looks like a dance practice room. The caption of the snap is a heart-wrenching one as Valentin warmly expressed pride in Sailor's efforts.

He wrote:

"I'm proud of you. Keep your head up, champ!"

In another Instagram post, Valentin shared a gif that features himself and Sailor on stage. Like the previous post, it has the pair oozing of excitement, but the caption is no less emotional as Valentin again, encouraged Sailor.

He wrote:

"C'est La Vie Superstar, this is just the beginning, even if it feels like the end. #itbelikethatsometime #keepyourheadupchamp."

In response, fans, who mainly felt that Valentin and Sailor, didn't "deserve" to be kicked off the show, took to the comments section to voice their opinions.

One such fan, @little_emilyanne, commented:

"You did not deserve to be in the bottom two and definitely did not deserve to go home. Ally and Sasha shouldn't have been in the bottom two either. I'm so upset this is not okay. I voted every week for you."

While another, @aminabrugnoni wrote:

The supportive comments are endless and seem to hinge about the notion that Valentin and Sailor didn't deserve the elimination.

Valentin thought so too as he sounded off on his thoughts about the "disappointing" results via a video he shared on his Instagram story.

It is, however, notable that although saddened by the results and seeing his partner so emotional about it, Valentin chose to remain positive.
