Famous model and actress, Christie Brinkley, took to Instagram to speak out about her daughter's unfortunate exit from the reality show.

TO SAILOR AND VAL

The actress shared a series of photos on social media, displaying several of her daughter's dance moves while on the stage of "DWTS." Accompanying the pictures was a lengthy message in which the star commended Sailor and her partner for a job well done.

THE DANCING PAIR ALSO SPOKE OUT

Sailor and her partner were most devastated by the turn of events. Following her eviction, the model's daughter broke down in tears while her partner did his best to console her. In an interview on "Good Morning America," the dancer explained her emotional feat:

"I loved this experience so much. I loved going to the studio and being able to do something I never thought I could do."

The dancer also revealed that her mom was heartbroken after the results were called out and was sobbing on the phone when they spoke afterward.

SAILOR WAS CAST AS CHRISTIE'S REPLACEMENT

It can be recalled that the 21-year-old model joined the show by an unexpected twist after her mom, who was initially one of the contestants, sustained an injury during rehearsals.

The 65-year-old model suffered injuries to her wrist and arms in September, announcing her replacement just hours before the Season 28 premiere of the ABC dance series.

Sailor's performances were unbelievable, despite the short notice, making her a fan-favorite. The 21-year-old made her mama proud.
