Bindi Irwin of 'Crikey! It's the Irwins' Is All Smiles as She & Fiancé Chandler Powell Taste Wedding Cake Together
Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s big day is fast approaching, and the couple is making sure the wedding cake is topnotch!
Planning the perfect wedding can be stressful, but Bindi Irwin and her fiancé make it look like a walk in the park.
Over the weekend, the soon-to-be-married couple took Instagram to update fans with details of their upcoming big day, Daily Mail reports.
In the sweet photo, Bindi and Chandler were holding a platter of cake slices as they dressed in matching black shirts and jeans.
In the accompanying caption, the bride-to-be explained that they had gone wedding cake tasting ahead of the D-day. She wrote:
“Wedding cake tasting together has been one of the best planning moments so far. I’m beyond grateful to have the love and support of this amazing group in my life.❤️”
She ended her message, asking fans to share with her any cake advice they have. Fans, in no time, heeded her request with a user advising that she go for faux cakes with fake under the frosting.
Another suggested that hummingbird cake is the best and counselled that the top of the cake shouldn’t be kept for a year.
One comment that, however, stood out was that of the groom-to-be who agreed to his woman’s claims of cake tasting being one of the “best planning moments.”
“This might have been my favorite planning moment yet.”
Bindi has been quite open with her fans and has been carrying them along with every decision made. Just last month, the 21-year-old teased her 2.8 million followers with a sneak peek of her wedding gown.
As reported by People Magazine, the conservationist shared an up-close photo of her gown’s lace sleeves with her blinding custom-made engagement ring in the background.
Letting fans know that was her dream dress, Bindi captioned the post:
“I said yes to the dress.”
After about six years of being together, Chandler and Bindi got engaged on her 21st birthday on July 24. A week after the new of the engagement, Bindi took to pay tribute to her late dad, Steve Irwin, CNN reveals.
In the post which was a throwback family photo, Bindi gushed about how proud her father would be proud of her brother, Robert, for being supportive of her union with Chandler.
She also announced that he would be the one to walk her down the aisle. She concluded writing:
“I wish you could be here for these moments, but I know that your spirit lives on in us ❤️”
Bindi and Chandler’s wedding is set to take place next year, and its location would be at the Australian Zoo.
