David Foster Reveals What He Loves about His Younger Wife Katharine McPhee on 'Today'

David Foster and Katherine Mcphee are head over heels in love as they share their love story on the Tuesday morning episode of the "Today Show" with Hoda Kotb.

The couple raved about their feelings for each other and talked about how it all began. The age difference isn't stopping these two, as there seems to be undeniable chemistry between them.

The seventy-year-old musician in response to a question about what he loves most about his wife said :
"Her singing, first of all … I mean, where do I start, the inner beauty, outer beauty."
Mcphee, on the other hand, told the interviewer that she's always loved and admired her husband for being so great with people around him. When asked if watching Foster play on the piano intimidates her, she responded :

"He can be intimidating when he needs to be for his work, but he's really lovely."
The couple met thirteen years ago when Mcphee was a contestant on "American Idol" during the show's fifth season in 2006, and Foster was a guest mentor.

The duo continued being friends until they sparked dating rumors in May 2017, his daughter Erin appeared to affirm the relationship by posting a photo of the couple on her Instagram story with the caption:
"excited about my new stepmom."

The "American Idol" alum and Grammy award-winner got engaged barely a year after, in July 2018, on a summer vacation in Italy. Before their wedding in June, friends of the bride threw her a surprise bachelorette party with a serenading performance from male strippers.

The couple got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in London on June 28, and the bride walked down the aisle in a custom-made strapless pin-tucked "antique white" tulle Zac Posen gown. The couple went ahead to have a romantic honeymoon in Italy.

This will be McPhee's second marriage and Foster's fifth. Mcphee was previously married to Nick Cokas. The Grammy winner, who has five daughters, was previously married to B.J. Cook, Rebecca Dyer, Linda Thompson, and Yolanda Hadid.
The "Waitress" star recently took to her Instagram page to share never before seen wedding pictures of her husband as he turned 70.
