Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are looking to expand their family next year, as revealed by a source close to the royal couple.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are still basking in the euphoric feeling of being parents to their six-month-old son, Archie Harrison, and according to US Weekly, they are already making plans for baby number two.

A source close to the Royals told the news outlet in this week's issue,

"Their family is their number one priority."

The source added that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking at next year to start preparing to give their son a sibling. With Markle at 38, the Royals may be looking to have as many as they can before her biological clock runs out.

The baby number two news first made the rounds after the parents-of-one surprised their neighbors at a community center in Windsor, where families of servicemen gathered for morning coffee.

The gathering had women, children, and relatives of those in the military forces, and the discussion centered around children, as Prince Harry wanted to know if the family dynamics change when two children are involved.

One of the mothers at the community center, Susie Stringfellow said about the Duke's questions in an interview,

"Harry was really quite interested in how things are with second children involved… we were trying to encourage him to have a second baby."

The dad-of-one has always spoken out about his desire to have a family. He and Markle welcomed Archie in May, and they revealed they were expecting him five months after their May 2018, wedding.

Kensington Royal, the official social media handle of Prince William and Kate Middleton released a statement on Twitter to that effect, writing that Prince Harry and the former "Suits" star were thrilled at the news.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also looking forward to expanding their family as revealed by US Weekly in the October issue of the magazine.
