Kris Jenner Joins Daughters Kourtney & Kim in Handing out Meals to Families in Need at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

Kris Jenner handed out Thanksgiving meals at a food bank just weeks after her family was criticized for engaging in a food fight on their show.

Kris Jenner has a lot to be grateful for. And with Thanksgiving around the corner and the holidays fast approaching, the famous reality mom is giving back.

FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Last weekend, Kris and her daughters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian visited the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to share their blessings with those in need. The ladies personally handed out Thanksgiving meals to over 100 families.

Kris’ charitable gesture couldn't come at a better time. Just weeks earlier, her family was criticized over a food fight on their show.

According to Kris, who shared photos from their food drive, it was “a reminder to be thankful for all our blessings.” She added, “I’m so grateful,” as she shared a series of photos of her family doling out food. Kris’ boyfriend, Corey Gamble was also on hand to help and he posed with the family for a souvenir pic.

“It’s important to me and my family to give back,” Kris continued in her caption. “Everyone can get involved by checking out your local food banks and lending support! A special thank you to @lafoodbank for having us and to those who participated.”

THE CONTROVERSIAL FOOD FIGHT

Kris’ charitable gesture couldn't come at a better time. Just weeks earlier, her family was criticized over a food fight on their show. To the dismay of some of their fans, Kris joined her daughters, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian in throwing pasta and salad at each other.

The food fight occurred during lunch in Khloe’s home. Khloe herself admitted in a confessional during the show that she was bothered by the fight and thought it “disturbing and unacceptable.”

Fans of the famous family were equally disgusted and wrote comments on a clip Khloe shared on her Instagram. They were furious over the waste of food and lack of sensitivity to those who can’t even afford to eat.

FOOD FOR THE HEART

Ahead of the infamous food fight, Kris celebrated her 64th birthday and found plenty of reasons to smile. Her children paid special tributes to her and celebrated her greatness as a mom.

Kim took the lead by renting their childhood home and throwing her mother a surprise bash there. She even went as far as replicating their wallpaper, table setting and decor their family used when they lived there. A tearful Kris thanked her daughter for the thoughtful gesture
