Jaleel White from 'Family Matters' Has Daughter Named Samaya Who Is the Spitting Image of Her Dad

Jaleel White brought fans up to speed about his daughter after he shared a series of photos via Instagram.

Over the years, fans have become accustomed to “Family Matters” alum, Jaleel White, keeping the spotlight away from his family life.

So when the actor took to Instagram to share special moments between him and his baby girl, Samaya, fans were both intrigued and shocked.

The “Dancing With The Stars” personality shared a series of photos that showed him and Samaya as they enjoyed a sweet treat before they moved on to what appeared to be an event.

Jaleel then added photos of him and his daughter having a good time at a beach and another group of images that showed them at a store.

The next snap showed Samaya sitting on her father’s lap as they enjoy a bag of Cheetos.

Finally, Jaleel uploaded a video of him working out with Samaya in the gym, in a post he captioned:

“They won’t always do what you tell them to, but they’ll always do what they see you do. #daddydaughtertime”

Once they got over their shock, fans were quick to point out that Samaya is the spitting image of her father.

While a few people exclaimed that the duo could pass for twins, some others stated that Samaya had the actor’s “whole face.”

Fans will recall that Jaleel welcomed Samaya back in 2009 when he was still dating Bridget Hardy.

According to I Love Old School Music claimed that sources hinted that the couple’s relationship began in 2006 before they split up sometime between 2009 and 2012.

The pair’s romantic relationship allegedly suffered a few bumps as I Love Old School Music recounted that Bridget called Jaleel an abusive cheater by Bridget in 2012.

Those claims were, however, denied by Jaleel during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in April 2012.

Despite the rocky relationship between the duo, they have shown how much they adore their daughter.

Rolling Out mentioned that Jaleel especially loved moments with his daughter that involved them enjoying themselves in several outings and sporting events.

Feeling The Vibe shared the images of the doting father when he and Samaya spent a day at Walt Disney Studios.

The 10-year-old looked engrossed in her art as she sat next to some statues outside.

BCK Online also divulged that the growing child was following in her father’s career path as an actress.

The site explained that the father-daughter duo is in a movie titled “Faithfully,” where Jaleel will take charge of the role of Dwayne.
