Kelly Ripa Reveals She Had Plastic Surgery to Fix Her Earlobes Because Her Earholes Had Torn All the Way Through

Actress Kelly Ripa got real on camera as she opened up about a recent plastic surgery she had done on her earlobes during her latest Fashion Finder segment on Instagram.

In the video, Kelly is seen posing in her floral Erdem Dress and showing off her Monica Mangin diamond stud earrings. In the video, a lady behind the camera mentioned that she pierced her ears herself using an apple and a needle.

Kelly then revealed that she also did the same, and that's the reason half of her piercings are crooked. She further added that she just had surgery on her earlobes because she had gauges.

She explained as she pointed towards her ears that her earlobes tore all the way through, so she had to go to a plastic surgeon, and now both earlobes are very different. She said,

"There's a piece of my earlobe that's not there because he had to sew it together."

She also opened up about her botox and how it has been hard trying to keep up with putting essential oils on her face to look frozen in time.

Fans of the talk show, "Live with Kelly and Ryan" host took to the comment section to share their views. While some shared their ear-piercing stories, others complimented Kelly for how real she is. Someone said,

"I am the same way. Right ear ripped twice, left ear once. Key. Don't wear heavy earrings and don't sleep with them or yank on them," a fourth added.

Her husband, Mark Consuelos, who has once again been featured in the 2019 sexiest man alive issue, has also received accolades thanks to his youthful looks.

In the past, Kelly has had to deal with accusations and criticism about her having cosmetic surgery.

Last year, in the comment section of one of her Instagram posts, she was accused of getting a nose job and veneers. Her response to the accusation was:

"I'm gonna tell you right now. No nose job, and no veneers. I wouldn't be sleeping in a retainer every night if I had."

The 49-year-old star has also enjoyed praises from fans as to how, at almost 50, she appears to be in perfect shape. Not just that, her husband, Mark Consuelos, who has once again been featured in the 2019 sexiest man alive issue, has also received accolades thanks to his youthful looks.

On an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Mark was asked by a caller how he and his wife have managed to look smoking hot for 30 years. He joked around with the answer and finally said: "I don't know, we work out."

The good looking duo has been married for 23 years now and shares three kids, Michael Joseph, Joaquin Antonio, and Lola Grace, whom they just recently dropped off at college.
