Tamera Mowry Reveals on 'The Real' That She Used to Smoke Cigarettes

Talk show co-anchor and actress Tamera Mowry Housley recently shared on air a habit she ditched after her lover complained.

We all have our demons, and while Tamera appears blameless and conservative on "The Real" show with her opinions, she is mostly honest and open.

During an episode on the show, the onscreen star revealed to her fellow co-hosts, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai, her experience with marijuana.

The actress stated that she teamed up with her friend Jeannie Mai who is also on the show, on her 40th birthday to have an out of the world experience with weed, but frankly, it isn't something she'd love to try again.

Furthermore, while she doesn't see herself ever smoking weed again, Tamera said she never had a problem puffing cigarette smokes during outings until she met her then-boyfriend, Adam Housley, who is now her husband.

The 40-year-old explained that she was a social smoker who thought having a cup in her hand looked better when there's a cigarette in the other.

However, maintaining a relationship with Adam Housley meant she needed to ditch that habit. She said:

"I was a social smoker you guys at one point...I thought it really looked sexy, whenever I had a glass of wine, I just wanted to do this...I was dating Adam at that time, and I just remember he was like…'I don't like kissing you with that kind of breath'...I never picked up a cigarette again."

Referring to Adams when she talks is not much of a big deal for the actress who also opened up on her sex life with her man. Tamera told her girls on the show about her "Sweet and Juicy" titled sex tape with her beau.

Having a great sense of connection with people is one of the "Sister, Sister" star's strong features and her new Christmas movie titled "A Christmas Miracle" which offers a second chance at life, proves this to be true.

During an interview, she explained that the role she played in the movie was that of a loving mother. Although her real-life situation is not similar to the movie character, the actress relatably projected her maternal instincts.

The "A Christmas Miracle" actress attempts to project, and correct societal ills and life struggle through her productions and appearances on the talk show.

Sadly, she lost her niece a year ago, Alaina Housley, to gun violence and detailed in a statement how much pain she is going through.

However, Tamera has tried countless times to address gun-related problems in America, and in honor of Alaina has set up a Voice Foundation.
