Jill Duggar from 'Counting on' Gets Adoring Comments from Fans after Showing off Haircut in Photos

There has been a lot of controversy about the former “Counting on” star, Jill Duggar and her infamous hairdo; alas, she has remedied the situation.

Jill Duggar’s extra-long hair has been a topic of discussion for her fans for quite a long time now. Many believe her hair always looked unkempt because of the considerable length. Jill likes to keep her hair long, but unfortunately, it leaves her hair ends looking really frayed, and fans can’t stop criticizing it.

There are various reasons why Jill might not be comfortable with a short hairdo. At the top of the list is her religion. The former overseer of the Ultra-conservative Christian sect that Jill and her family members belong to allegedly believed women should keep long hair. This belief is supported by the bible in a passage from Corinthians. 1 Corinthians 11:15:

“But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

Another possible reason for Jill’s choice of hairdo is money. While the Duggars may be famous, their large number doesn’t help much with their financials. The Duggars are reportedly quite frugal; they keep to a certain kind of food, use homemade detergent and shop at thrift stores. Furthermore, they can’t afford constant patronage of professional hair salons and instead trim each other’s hair at home.

Jill’s husband, Derrick, is also attending law school and works as a driver for Grub-hub on the side.

Well, the long wait has finally come to an end, and fans are loving it. In a recent Instagram post, Jill showed off her new and much shorter hairdo, and she looks amazing.

Jill’s hair hasn’t been the only topic of discussion for her fans; her marriage to Derrick has been on their minds too.

In 2017, Derrick made negative comments about TLC stars Jazz Jennings, Jeremiah Brent, and Nate Berkus. It didn’t go over well with fans, and they wanted him fired from the show. Derrick eventually left the show with his family on his terms.

Many fans aren’t happy with Jill’s marriage to Derrick and predict that the couple will get a divorce in some years. However, divorce is unacceptable according to the Duggar’s religious beliefs. It is doubtful it will come to that.
