Hollywood star Debbie Allen hit the milestone age of 70, and in honor of her years of relevance, she put up some throwback images to the delight of fans.

In a recent post from Debbie Allen, the actress stirred the nostalgic mood in her older fans while she left younger fans in awe as she turned 70.

On Instagram, Allen gave fans a sneak peek into her fame in the '80s.

In one of the posts, which dates back to 1983, A young Debbie is walking through a crowd at the Golden Globes Awards as she was called to receive the award for the category of "Best Television Actress Comedy or Musical Series.

Another post which is a black and white photo showed Allen posing with fellow cast members from the movie, "Polly." Present also in the picture is former child star, Keisha Knight Pulliam.

Debbie Allen is a versatile actress who has made her mark as a dancer, television director, producer, and choreographer. She is the founder of the acclaimed Debbie Allen Dance Academy.

Once in an interview with TOWN AND COUNTRY, Allen made it known that her many talents started when she was a young girl.

The actress said:

"I was the entertainment for the family. I would be in the back yard, performing to the birds and trees and clouds."

After studying theater at Howard University, Debbie launched a career on Broadway.

Her breakout movie was "Anita," and the film earned her a Tony nomination and a Drama Desk Award.

As Debbie's career gathered momentum, she became a recipient of many awards including, three Emmy Awards, 5 NAACP Image Awards, and a Golden Globes Award, among others.

There should be little wonder as to how successful the phenomenal woman is as she comes from a family of stars.

According to TOWN AND COUNTRY, Debbie's sister is the pivotal star, Phylicia Rashad, and their mother, Vivian Ayers Allen, is a Pulitzer Price Holder.

The two Hollywood stars have been able to instill uniqueness into their daughters, who are also Hollywood practitioners.

With such a sterling career history, Allen is not relenting, and according to FOXLA, a recent production by her for "Hot Chocolate Nutcracker" Broadway show garnered good reviews coupled with being an award-winning show.
