Sean Penn is a proud father to Dylan and Hopper, both of whom have also embraced the limelight. Unsurprisingly so, considering the genes they inherited.

Dylan has grown into a gorgeous young lady, as shown in photos shared on her Instagram. Hopper is also turning heads with his good looks, as seen in photos uploaded on his Instagram.

Penn shares Dylan and Hopper with his then-girlfriend, Robin Wright. The former couple welcomed Dylan in 1991.

PARENTS' BREAKUP

Two years later, Penn and Wright welcomed their second child, Hopper. It wasn’t until 1996 that Penn and Wright tied the knot.

The pair, however, split in 2010, shocking their fans around the world. Before parting ways, they were considered a Hollywood power couple.

Dylan and Hopper are both into acting and modeling, as reported by Closer Weekly. Dylan has made quite a mark, with more than 51,000 followers on Instagram.

FOLLOWING IN PARENTS' FOOTSTEPS

Raised outside of Hollywood for most of their lives, Dylan and Hopper did not have a typical upbringing, as reported by Nicki Swift. Still, they eventually found their way to the Hollywood scene.

They also had to bear with the downside of Hollywood. Hopper once had an altercation with a paparazzi when he was only 19 years old.

Being a spitting image of her famous mother, Dylan’s foray into modeling did not come as a surprise.

A STINT AT REHAB

That incident was reminiscent of his famous father’s brawl with a photographer in 2009. The “Dead Man Walking” actor ended up settling a civil lawsuit filed against him by the photographer.

Hopper had a stint at a rehab center for meth addiction. But he soon sobered up and became the face of an eyewear collection by Fendi.

He also appeared alongside Brad Pitt in the film, “War Machine.” The movie came out in 2017 on Netflix.

Dylan, for her part, naturally gravitated towards modeling. Being a spitting image of her famous mother, Dylan’s foray into modeling did not come as a surprise. She is not exactly in love with modeling, however.

"Modeling is not a passion of mine. I have been having fun with it, but it's just to pay the bills. Writing, directing…anything behind the camera is what I want to do," she said.

Dylan also said that she’s rarely comfortable during a photo shoot. “There are times when I have a good time and I feel really comfortable with the photographer and the crew,” she explained.

Similarly, her father Penn recently revealed that he would soon be taking away his focus from filming to writing. But he assured he’s not quitting acting permanently.

The Oscar winner said that he is not in love with the process of acting anymore. His acting career has spanned four decades.
