Jonathan Scott from 'Property Brothers' Pays Tribute to Girlfriend Zooey Deschanel in Sweet Birthday Post

Jonathan Scott from "Property Brothers" gushed over the relationship with his girlfriend Zooey Deschanel as he shared a tribute in honor of her 40th birthday.

In honor of Zooey Deschanel's 40th birthday over the weekend, her new beau, "Property Brother" star, Jonathan Scott, gushed over their budding relationship, and in a birthday message to her he said:

"Happy Birthday to the beautiful human who brought joy & laughter back into my life ❤?!"

The couple met in August 2019, after appearing with their siblings on an episode of "Carpool Karaoke." Only a month after filming the episode, the two were spotted on a date in Los Angeles.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Scott opened about his relationship with Deschanel and revealed that what he loved the most about her is how romantic she is and how much they make each laugh all the time. Responding to his post, Zooey also gushed over how lucky she is.

It is reported, the couple's romantic relationship has been going so well that they are even mixing business with pleasure.

Jonathan and his twin brother Drew Scott, are currently promoting a lifestyle magazine titled "Reveal." During an interview on "Today," Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager couldn't help pointing out that they noticed that Deschanel is one of the contributors on the book.

Confirming the news about their latest collaboration, Scott brought Hager to tears as him and his brother gushed over the relationship, he said:

"People keep saying to me like, 'Jonathan, you feel so alive.' And I'm like, 'Was I a dud before? What happened? But I will admit she brings out the best in me, and she makes me want to be the best version of myself."

As if coming out to the public about the relationship only a month before Deschanel's husband, Jacob Pechenik, had filed for divorce, wasn't hard enough for the couple to manage publically.

Johnathan told PEOPLE, the biggest test she faced was actually meeting his family for the first time. He brought her to his brother, J.D Scott wedding to makeup artist Annalee Belle.

Recalling the first he brought her around his family at his brother's eccentric movie themed wedding, he said she knew how to work the room and opened up to his family.

He said it was important for his family to approve of the person he is dating, and admitted that Zoey had instantly clicked with his family.
