Reba McEntire Is a Wonderful Mother & Stepmother to Her 6 Kids - Meet Them All

Country fans hold singer Reba McEntire in high regard. Yet the stunning icon manages to keep life with her large family under wraps.

The veteran musician rose to fame in the late 70s and has since become a notable figure in the industry thanks to winning a Grammy award.

This makes it almost a mystery how very little is ever seen or heard of her family, which is a surprisingly large one considering Reba is a mother of six!

Reba has been married twice, and it is thanks to this that she is a proud mother of six children. Although five of them are her stepchildren, Reba primarily regards them as her very own.

About her second husband, Blackstock's three children from a previous marriage, Reba shares that they are all hers. She said:

"I don't consider Brandon, Chassidy, and Shawna stepchildren...I claim them all."

Both of Reba's marriages ended in divorce; the first was to steer wrestling champion and rancher Charlie Battles in 1976 while the second was to her manager and fellow entertainer, Narvel Blackstock.

The singer's brood includes two stepchildren, Lance and Coty, from her previous marriage to Battles. According to Closer Weekly, very little is known about this grown pair thanks to their love for privacy.

For Reba, motherhood has come with many challenges, and they have all helped her learn some of life's most essential lessons, including being patient.

Reba's other children are the products of her 26-year relationship with Blackstock. This includes their one biological child, son Shelby as well as Blackstock's three children, Brandon, Chassidy, and Shawna, from a previous relationship.

Brandon is perhaps the most famous of the group thanks to his marriage to high profile singer Kelly Clarkson. As for Reba, there couldn't be a more percent fit for Brandon than Clarkson.

In an interview with American journalist Katie Couric, Reba was overjoyed at the news of the couple's then-engagement:

"To have my buddy as my daughter-in-law, I mean, who could ask for more? [Kelly's] a girl with a big heart. Very giving, loving, and talented."

There really couldn't be a better example of an ideal celebrity family woman than Reba, considering that she still manages to stay at the fore of her career even while performing her motherly duties.
