Sade's Transgender Son Izaak Theo Shared Endearing Photo for the Singer's 61st Birthday

Sade just turned 61-years-old, and her proud soon Izaak Theo made sure to share a touching tribute to his mom on her special day.

Izaak Theo Adu grew up feeling all the love from his mother, Sade, and now it was his turn to remind her of his unwavering love right on time for her birthday.

"You know how much I love you."

APPRECIATIVE OF HIS MOTHER

Izaak has always been open about how grateful he is for all the love, acceptance, and support that his mom has shown him, especially during his transition.

Back in 2016, Adu publicly came out as transgender. By 2019, he decided to fully transition into a man by undergoing surgical procedures in the hospital.

At the time, Izaak acknowledged the love that his mom Sade showed him through it all, saying:

"06/13/19. Yesterday was LONG but this process is all about patience. Shoutout to my Mumma and Pops for standing by my side."

COMING OUT AS TRANSGENDER

On a YouTube video, Izaak Theo shared that coming out as transgender was "the best feeling in the world," as it taught him to be himself.

Adu decided to publicly announce his transition to help others who may be feeling the same urge to come out, but feel alone and afraid to do so. Izaak aims to take away someone's pain by "just posting a selfie," something that might make "someone else's life a little easier."

CREDITING HIS FAMILY FOR HIS COURAGE AND STRENGTH

In the end, he revealed that the courage and strength he has is from the amount of support he's received from his family through the years.

"I'm very very lucky. Even my granny, who's 84-years-old and is from a completely different generation has been nothing but supportive and never flips up on my pronouns or my name."

While he is close to his entire family, there is one person whom Izaac credits the most - his mother, Sade. Although he praises her every chance he gets, the most simple description of their relationship would be that his mother is his rock and his life.
