The last time the musician released an album was in 2018 and it was titled “Graffiti U.” “Rolling Stone” asked the star if he had a particular direction he would be taking with the upcoming record and responded saying:
“Just whatever that mix is that I do of things. I don’t really think of it in terms of […] I couldn’t really label that. It’s a broad mix of songs, genres, styles.”
Urban’s album will feature some “guitar stuff”
The publication also asked if the country singer felt pressurized to release an album yearly or every two years. Urban stated that he didn’t feel that way and “couldn’t imagine” having to do so.
Album will have guest artists
The artist previously revealed that the upcoming album would also include some guest artists which he would be collaborating with. Besides working on his new album, earlier in the month, he launched his residency at Caesars Palace.
The residency has become such a hit that the star had to add four additional shows for July and September 2020.
