Katie Holmes of 'Dawson's Creek' Fame Turns Heads in Sheer Black Romper & Matching Coat for Flaunt Magazine Photo Shoot

"Dawson's Creek" star Katie Holmes is timeless! She was a total head-turner during her recent lingerie shoot with Flaunt Magazine.

The 41-year-old actress wore a black body-hugging romper slightly covered with a black coat by Olivier Theyskens. She topped her look with black heels and elegant pieces of jewelry, as shown in the photos shared by Flaunt Magazine.

Aside from being a celebrity, Holmes is a curious creature and a creator. The magazine shoot was a way to commence her plan of producing a film and starring in new movies.

TWO MOVIES NEXT YEAR

Holmes, who dated actor and musician Jamie Foxx until the couple split up in 2019, is set to star in two films next year. These are "The Secret: Dare to Dream" and "Brahms: The Boy II."

Holmes shared to Flaunt that the movie, "The Secret: Dare to Dream," was based on a self-help book about the power of positive thinking. The narrative of the film is about continuing to believe even after rounds of being unlucky.

The next one, "Brahms," is a horror movie. Holmes said she sometimes got scared while filming it because it had scenes with creepy dolls around.

RARE OBJECTS UNDERWAY

The actress has opened about her plan to direct a film. The movie is titled "Rare Objects," a coming of age story of a woman in her twenties living in Manhattan, as reported by Closer Weekly.

To direct a coming-of-age-story would serve as a voice for women who went through difficult times in life. The movie aims to have a sense of connection with their own female kind.

She feels extremely blessed to have Suri as her daughter.

MOTHERHOOD

"As a woman, we have to keep telling our stories, and keep showing what we all go through, and have that voice out there so that we all feel connected as women," she told Flaunt Magazine.

A woman who values career, Holmes is also focused on her motherhood. This stage is the most important thing to her as she shares a special bond with her daughter, Suri.

Holmes feels extremely blessed to have Suri as her daughter. She shares Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise. She said in an interview with Shape Magazine:

"I feel very blessed to have such a special daughter. Being her mom is absolutely the greatest gift and privilege."

Holmes, who was named one of People's "50 Most Beautiful People" in 2003, also revealed that one of the things she enjoyed the most with Suri was working out and staying fit.

The actress made her feature film debut in Ang Lee's "The Ice Storm" in 1997. Her other notable films include "Wonder Boys," "The Singing Detective," "Touched with Fire," "Woman in Gold."
