Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise Spotted Having a Mother-Daughter Shopping Trip

The mother and daughter walked around New York City and enjoyed the hot weather while they hunted for earrings, and fans are delighted to see how much the teenage girl has grown.

40-year-old Katie Holmes and the 13-year-old daughter she shares with former husband Tom Cruise, Suri, went out in New York City on July 21, when the two reportedly were shopping for earrings.

The “Dawson’s Creek” star and her lookalike child weren’t afraid of a little heat and they put on their best casual summer clothes and stepped out for a mother-daughter shopping date.

LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER

Holmes flaunted her toned abs and tanned skin in a black strap top, to which she added a pair of belled-bottomed stonewashed jeans. The actress wore a white belt and a pair of trendy glittery sandals.

She finished the look with dark sunglasses and carried a tan bag over one shoulder.

Suri’s parents Katie and Tom got divorced when she was six years old. The “Mission Impossible” star’s deep involvement with the Church of Scientology was one of the main reasons for Katie to seek a divorce.

Suri, on the other hand, opted for a yellow sundress that she casually paired with converse shoes, adding a stylish touch by carrying a Susan Alexandra purse. She is clearly the spitting image of her famous mother.

According to Daily Mail, the two were seen walking around looking for earrings before getting into a cab and leaving.

As a result of the separation and reportedly because of the strict rules of the church regarding those who leave the religion, Suri became estranged from her father ever since then.

Katie recently found love once again in the person of 51-year-old actor and singer Jamie Foxx. Their relationship became known in 2013, but they reportedly managed to date in secret for two years previous to that.

Katie and Foxx not only have succeeded in keeping a very private celebrity relationship, but they have also figure out how to maintain their long-distance romance alive.

While Katie is based in New York City, Foxx’s work needs him to be in Los Angeles.
