Kelly Clarkson wouldn't reveal exactly what she did as she warned Hoda Kotb never to trust Blake Shelton with drunk texts or calls. For some reason, everyone agreed with her.

Earlier this week, Hoda Kotb, 55, visited the "Kelly Clarkson Show" to once again recount her engagement story with Joel Schiffman and talk about other aspects of her life.

The "Today Show" host had a lot of significant events happen in her life last year, which means she had a lot of reasons to celebrate. Sometimes, she'd call to share those celebratory outings. Her interview is found below.

Kelly was wrong all this time

There was lots of positive energy when Kotb sat down with Clarkson to talk about the big things happening in her life. Plus, the tv personalities are well-acquainted with each other.

It may not be safe to say they're friends, though, since Clarkson, 37, believed that Kotb was happily married all those years she'd been with Joel Schiffman. Schiffman only proposed last November.

Kotb shares her proposal story

During the interview, Kotb again related the story of how Schiffman, 61, started talking about their relationship during one of their getaways to a beach location.

Before she knew what was happening, Schiffman pushed the chair out from under him, got on one knee, and asked Kotb to marry him. She didn't even realize he had asked.

She said yes, of course, and her life unexpectedly changed since that time. Clarkson, however, doesn't want Kotb's life to change for the worst by making certain phone calls.

Kelly warns Hoda about Blake

At one point, Kotb animatedly spoke about her practice of drunk-texting and imitated how she'd often call Clarkson when she was out. Clarkson said that Kotb's not the only one who does it, and she loves it.

Then, finger-wagging, she gave Kotb a severe warning: "Never send that to Blake Shelton." In good humor, Kotb was taken aback as Clarkson continued.

"I know you love Blake, but he will take— Never trust him with something important footage-wise," she told her guest. When Kotb inquired about what Clarkson had done, she just repeated the warning.

Kotb & Bush Hager's new show debuts

Soon after Kotb made her appearance with Clarkson, she launched her own first live audience show alongside Jenna Bush-Hager. "Hoda & Jenna & Friends" debuted on Thursday with a bang.

The show was filmed inside Studio 6A in the Rockefeller Plaza and featured a cheering audience to introduce the beloved "Today" co-hosts. Some very special guests were also welcomed with applause.

Kotb's gets the best surprise

Kotb's fiancé Schiffman, who joined Bush-Hager's husband Henry Hager, made his very first appearance at his future wife's workplace to celebrate the new show.

Later on, he surprised Kotb with her adopted daughter Haley Joy while Henry brought on Bush-Hager's kids Margaret and Poppy Louise. What a beautiful family affair.
