On PGA Tour's Twitter page, a video of Tiger Woods golfing shows him making a 24-Foot, 8-Inch eagle putt that made fans go wild.
This development got a lot of people attributing the numbers to Bryant, while some considered it supernatural.
In the comments session, Tweeps endlessly praised Woods' score at the LA event while they echoed Kobe's nickname, "mamba."
CNN Sports share that the numbers were in accordance with the late star's Jersey numbers, 24 and 8.
The PGA Tour also took place at a location close to where Kobe's Helicopter crashed last month. All these had fans thinking that the 24;8 score was magical.
At the event, other golf champions paid tribute to Kobe Bryant. World's No.1 Rory McIlroy, had his woods covered in lakers styled cover with the numbers, 24 and 8 inscribed on them while Kobe's "Mamba Mentality" also featured.
Justin Thomas rocked a pair of custom-made golf shoes that had the lakers colors and an image of Kobe Bryant on them.
According to USA Today, Woods' game at the Riviera Country Club saw him throw a 3-woods at 312 yards while he went on to play an 8-iron from 171 yards distance, which amounted to 24 feet, 8 inches. Speaking about his eagle putt score, Tiger Woods mentioned that it was ironic.
Golf Channel shares that Woods had a few words to share after his phenomenal score. The golf champion who found his rating ironic told the new site:
"No matter what we do, I think for a while, we're always going to remember Kobe and what he meant, especially here in SoCal and the entire sports world."
