Sandra Bullock Jokes about What She'll Do When Her Kids Go to College
In a recent interview, "Miss Congeniality" star Sandra Bullock quipped that she's going to purchase an apartment down the street from her children's colleges.
The 55-year-old actress, who is the recipient of several accolades including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award, recently sat down with fellow actress Jennifer Aniston, 51, for Interview magazine.
During the interview, Bullock revealed her plans for her kids — daughter Laila, 7½, and son Louis, 10 — seeking further schooling once they graduate high school.

THE ACTRESS'S JOKE
Bullock joked, "I gave them the places where they can go to college because that's where Mommy feels comfortable living."
Bullock added that she told her children they can go to these three colleges because she's going to buy an apartment down the street.
In a December 2018 interview with PEOPLE, the "Bird Box" star discussed how her life has become even more enriched since welcoming Louis and Laila.

BETTER THAN ANYTHING
"You imagine so many things for yourself, but when it appears it's better than anything you could ever imagine," she said.
In 2010, Bullock and her former husband, Jesse James, adopted Louis. Five years later, the acclaimed actress told HELLO! that she had adopted a second child — this time a girl named Laila.
Bullock couldn't feel more grateful since she becomes the mother of Louis and Laila.

HER TOP PRIORITY
In a 2018 interview with Hoda Kotb on "Today," Bullock said that being a mother isn't just her top priority, but her mission in life.
Bullock couldn't feel more grateful since becoming the mother of Louis and Laila. Her longtime boyfriend, Bryan Randall, couldn't have filled in as the role of their dad any better, either.
Randall is a photographer who previously shot the official photos of Bullock with her two kids when she announced her little girl's adoption.
In a report published by Closer Weekly on January 29, a source claimed that Bullock and Randall might have just gotten married.
The source added that friends close to Bullock and Randall think they should get married, that is, in the event that they haven't already and just kept it private.
Randall, who was once a high fashion model, has one child from a previous relationship. He is said to be a doting father to his daughter, Skylar Staten.
