Taking to Twitter, McCain defended herself from critics of her views on the talk show writing: “It’s called “The View”... I am paid to give another view.” She continued her post addressing those who were “deeply triggered by a diversity of opinions.”

The television host advised: “[If you] want to watch a show where everyone just sits around agreeing with one another on everything, feel free to find a show called ‘The Same.’” Rumors have circulated for a while claiming McCain has issues with her colleagues behind the scenes.

The View hosts have tension

On numerous occasions, the talk show host has gotten into arguments on live television with her co-hosts. McCain hosts “The Talk” with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin.

The host is known for talking over her co-hosts on camera and also complains about getting little air-time. In January 2020, “Us Weekly” reported on how the problems extended backstage as well.

The source further claimed how McCain and Goldberg had a “really hostile” relationship throughout the season. Things are reportedly so bad between the hosts that the staff is also starting to get affected.

McCain’s Valentine’s Day fallout with Behar

However, McCain and her co-hosts have denied the rumors despite the obvious on-screen tension. On Valentine's Day, McCain had a fallout with Behar because of a difference in opinion.

Screaming and shouting on the show

Behar and her co-host are two of the presenters that have gotten into the most on-screen squabbles. The pair generally ends up screaming or shouting at each other as they try to voice their opinions.

Goldberg tends to be the one who saves the day as they cut to a commercial or when she tries to mediate between her colleagues.
