Mariska Hargitay from 'Law & Order: SVU' Wears Pink as She Steps out with Peter Hermann — Details about Her Husband of 15 Years

"Law & Order: SVU" star Mariska Hargitay looked glamorous when she stepped out alongside her husband of fifteen years, Peter Hermann. The couple attended the 35th Anniversary of the Atlantic Theatre Company's "Couple Choice Gala."

Monday Night proved to be the perfect date night for sweet couple Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann, who looked their best for an awesome date night courtesy of the Atlantic Theatre Company.

Mariska made two posts with accompanying pictures from the date night, showing her and Hermann in their lovely outfits. One of the posts showed the couple walking into the event.

Mariska wore a beige coat over a lovely pink dress. She also carried a maroon bag and matched her outfit with purple boots. Mariska and Peter Hermann held hands as they walked in, and she duly captioned the post, "In step with peter Hermann."

Her second post showed the smiling couple posing at the red carpet for a lovely shot. Her husband looked handsome, wearing a grey three-piece suit, which he matched with black shoes. Mariska captioned the second post:

"Inspiring night at the #Atlanticturns35 Congratulations @atlantictheatre #ATCgala [emojis]."

The good-looking couple has been married for fifteen years and are parents to three children, sons, August, and Andrew, aged 13 and 8, respectively, and daughter, Amaya, 8.

Hargitay and Hermann met for the first time on the set of "Law & Order" back in 2001 and have remained on the show ever since.

Peter revealed what he enjoyed most about playing the role of Charles Brooks.

While Mariska portrays the role of Captain Oliver Benson and is also the executive producer of the show, Peter holds a recurring role as Trevor Langan, a defense attorney in the long-running series.

Peter, on his Twitter bio, describes himself as an actor and advocate. He is also the author of the book, "If the S in Moose Comes Loose." He is a doting husband, as evident in his Valentine post, which he paid special tribute to Mariska, tweeting:

"The person who puts the HAPPY in my VERY HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! I love you, my sweet @Mariska."

Accompanying the lovely tweet was a cut photo of the couple, laughing, with their heads close to each other.

Peter Hermann also starred in the TV Land series, "Younger," where he played the role of a publisher, Charles Brooks, the lover of the main character, Liza Miller, played by Sutton Foster.

Peter was present for an interview with Forbes' Adam Morganstern, last year, as the sixth and final season of "Younger" approached; he talked about his growing up days, among other things.

In that interview, Peter revealed what he enjoyed most about playing the role of Charles Brooks; the fact that he wants his character to explore finding deep fulfillment.

The last season of "Younger" premiered on June 12, 2019, while its final episode aired on September 4, 2019.
