Melania Trump Dons Stylish Black Midi Dress & Heels at 2020 International Women of Courage Awards
Melania Trump looked demure in an all-black outfit during her appearance at the 2020 International Women of Courage Awards in Washington, D.C.
Melania Trump made a solo appearance at International Women of Courage Awards in Washington, D.C, on behalf of the state department.
The first lady was there to hand out awards to honor several women from around the world for the leadership and the courage they have shown in their various circumstances.
In her caption, she expressed her pride in being able to hand out the awards to so many exceptional women from around the world, calling them "a true inspiration to us all."
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joined Melania at the event the first also praised the women for the achievements.
The awards were given by Melania in celebration of Women's History Month. Secretary Pompeo praised the award recipients saying:
"Proud to stand alongside @FLOTUS to honor these strong, courageous women who against all odds overcame barriers, and stood boldly for what is just."
The awards honored women from as far away as Asia and to Africa. While most of the women were dressed in colorful traditional attire, Melania went for a demure look in an all-black ensemble.
Sticking to a simple black dress, the first lady looked sophisticated in a design, which had a high collar and long bell sleeves. One fan absolutely loved the dress and commented on her beauty.

She accessorized her black midi-dress with a pair of colorful striped 4.7-inch "So Kate" heels by designer Louboutin.
According to Footwear News, the bold layered stripes made by her favorite go-to heel brand where the "Cinestripes" colorway that adds a bit of color to any look.
Melania, who always steals the show in any room she walks into, kept the focus of the evening on the women they were celebrating and commended them for their accomplishments.
In her speech, she expressed how proud she is of the positions that so many women around the world are playing in society in their various roles as mothers and career women in a variety of industries.
