Sara Haines of 'Good Morning America' Claps Back at Body-Shaming Instagram Trolls

Sara Haines, a co-anchor on the "Good Morning America" show, lashed out at trolls who body-shamed her via an Instagram post.

The 42-year-old is a mother of three beautiful children, 8-month-old Caleb, 2-year-old Sandra, and 4-year-old Alec, whom she shares with her husband, Max Shrifin.

Being a TV personality and a mother is somewhat tasking, no wonder Sara was quick to respond to the numerous criticism concerning her appearance. She announced that she had had enough and loved her body inside out.

The post featured an image of her colleagues, Strahan, and Keke, in their work attires looking all shades of cute as they flashed smiles at the camera. It also saw Sara in an adorable blue body fitted turtle-neck dress and her curly blond hair.

Her caption, which backfired the trolls who called her pregnant due to her belly pooch, hinted that she was proud of her looks, and she advised that a woman shouldn't be body shamed.

Insinuating that a woman is carrying a child when she's not, is not an acceptable complement to the talk show co-host. She proudly captioned her post:

"I've had three babies, and I love the way I look, little belly pooch & all. It's NOT ok to ask a woman if she's pregnant...you never know what journey someone is on..."

The update featured a slew of remarks with different people stating their thoughts on the sensitive issue. A group of fans shared their experiences and related personally to the post.

One fan explained that her weight made a stranger touch her stomach in public thinking she was soon to welcome a child. Another person praised the post and stated that people should mind their business.

The former "The View" co-host also highlighted that it wasn't all that easy combining her job with parenting, especially when she welcomed her first child.

"Max and I are still adjusting to having three kids...But within the chaos, we constantly remind each other to pause and take it all in. We feel lucky."
