Gabby Sidibe Flaunts Her Weight Loss as She Dances in Striped Dress with Friend in New Video

"Empire" actress Gabby Sidibe flaunts her weight loss in a new Instagram video. The actress donned a striped dress while she danced with her friend.

Gabourey "Gabby: Sidibe recently took to Instagram to show off her new weight loss in a new video. The "Precious" actress and a friend of hers were dancing to a background tune in the Instagram video. Sidibe captioned the video,

"Ya aunties at work."

This is not the first time the actress has taken to social media to show off her weight loss. Late last year, Sidibe posted photos of her slimmer body in an African print dress that put her legs and arms on display.

Gabby rocked the red and yellow attire to the birthday bash of Nicole Ari Parker. Fans of the actress took to the comment section to compliment and congratulate her on her weight loss.

Gabby Sidibe has been struggling with losing her extra weight since her entrance into the entertainment scene in the 2009 film, "Precious."

A few years back, the actress made the decision to undergo laparoscopic bariatric surgery. Sidibe openly spoke of her journey to weight loss and gave her reason for going under the knife.

In an Instagram post that he made at the beginning of this year, Frankel posted a photo of Gabby and appraised her in the caption calling her, "...a ball of sunshine."

The actress explained that she and her brother, Ahmed, were diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and she didn't want to spend any more of her life worrying about the effects of the ailment.

Gabby also mentioned her first trainer on her journey to weight loss and how she trained hard with him but didn't get the results she was looking for. She said,

"I really, really tried — I gave a valiant try."

Sidibe also spoke of her diet changes since her surgery and admitted the other changes she's made in her life.

As regards her dating life, the actress is believed to be in a relationship with Brandon Frankel. Frankel, who also works in entertainment, has taken to Instagram over the past months to celebrate his love for Sidibe.

In an Instagram post that he made at the beginning of this year, Frankel posted a photo of Gabby and appraised her in the caption calling her, "...a ball of sunshine."

Although Sidibe hasn't posted much about her new man on her social media pages, she replied Frankel's post and called him her "favorite Love Song."

She also celebrated his 35th birthday with a surprise trip to the Yutucan.
