Tom Hanks' son, Chet Hanks, revealed that his parents are not worried after Tom announced that he and his wife, Rita Wilson, had tested positive for Coronavirus in Australia.

In a newly released Instagram video by Chet Hanks, the 29-year-old revealed that his parents were not worried about their diagnosis.

Chet re-assured fans. He told them that he had just gotten off the phone with his parents and that the couple was doing fine.

He added that both Tom and Rita were taking the necessary medical precautions, and they aren't beating themselves up over the diagnosis.

Chet showed appreciation to well-wishers who had shown concern and assured them that everything was going to be okay. He also advised them to stay safe and protect themselves.

Shortly after the release of Chet's video, his brother, Colin, also took to social media to address the situation.

The 42-year-old actor expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and assured fans that their parents were getting the best treatment in Australia.

Tom Hanks and Rita got married in 1988, and the couple has two children together; Chet Hanks and Truman Hanks. Tom also has two other children; Elizabeth and Colin from his first marriage.
