Floyd Mayweather Fondly Remembers Late Ex-girlfriend Josie Harris with Throwback Photos
Floyd Mayweather made sure to pay tribute to his late ex-girlfriend Josie Harris with a series of throwback pictures on Instagram after she was found dead inside a vehicle parked in the driveway of her home in California.
Josie Harris and Floyd Mayweather spent many happy years together, sharing three kids. It came as a shock to the boxer when Harris was found unresponsive inside a car parked in the driveway of her home in Valencia, California, where she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Harris and Mayweather were together for ten years before their split in 2010.

REMEMBERING JOSIE HARRIS
Following the loss, Mayweather posted a total of 11 photos of Harris on his Instagram, with simple phrases calling her "my angel," "my sweetheart," "my better half," and "my sunshine."
Since discovering her body, sheriffs are treating the case as a death investigation rather than a homicide, but the coroner's office has not released a cause of death.
THEIR TURBULENT RELATIONSHIP
Harris and Mayweather were together for ten years before their split in 2010. It came after multiple allegations of domestic abuse against the boxer, with him even serving two months in prison after he was convicted of domestic violence against her.
While Josie claimed she was abused six times, the criminal case was focused on an incident that happened in September 2010, where she was attacked in her home while she slept, with Mayweather pulling her hair in front of their three children. At the time, their eldest son ran out of the house and alerted a security guard to call the police.
LIFE AFTER THEIR RELATIONSHIP
In 2015, Harris sued for defamation after Mayweather claimed he would only restrain her because she was constantly on drugs. They were in a $20 million lawsuit before her death.
Prior to her death, Josie Harris was also writing a book that aimed to help people overcome and cope with domestic violence. It is unclear whether this book will ever be released.
Josie shared three kids, 20-year-old Koraun, 18-year-old Zion, and 16-year-old Jirah, with Floyd Mayweather. May she Rest In Peace.
