Less than a year after Beth Chapman's tragic death, it seems that her husband is involved with another woman.

The late Beth Chapman's grieving daughter, Cecily Chapman, could not accept stepdad Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman's alleged new love so soon after her mother's passing.

The family hit the headlines after it was alleged that Cecily and her sister Lyssa were set against Dog's relationship with a family friend, and their angry disapproval was tearing the family apart.

Dog has frankly stated that he is not a man who can live alone

A BITTER LOSS

In June 2019, reality star Beth Chapman passed away, after valiantly fighting throat cancer for two years. Her passing left her family shattered, struggling to deal with her sudden absence from their lives.

A new controversy has divided the grieving Chapmans when it seemed that Dog was being consoled by Moon Angell, a family friend.

LYSSA AND CECILY CHAPMAN UP IN ARMS

Cecily and her stepsister Lyssa seem to be especially aggrieved by this relationship. Moon and Dog have denied that there is anything more between them than friendship and they spoke about their relationship with Dr. Oz.

In the interview, Dog referred to Moon as his "dearest friend," and said she made his life brighter but denied categorically that he is now, or has ever been romantically involved with her. Moon, he revealed, is a longtime family friend and her son is referred to as "Dog's nephew."

CECILY CHAPMAN'S ANGER

A bitter Cecily lashed out at the woman she perceived as taking her recently deceased mother's place and posted a series of accusatory tweets. On January 26, 2020, she bluntly wrote:

"Get out of my mother's bed."

In another angry post, Cecily stated that she feels sorry for her father who is being manipulated by an ambitious woman, who wants to take Beth Chapman's place in his life - and presumably become a celebrity too. Cecily wrote:

"The only one ruining my dad is #MOON and her nasty children who are all con artist."

MOON ANGELL NOT AT BETH CHAPMAN'S FUNERAL

According to Cecily, Dog had not allowed Moon to attend Beth's funeral, as she was in the company of someone he didn't approve of. Cecily wrote angrily:

"SHE acts like she hasn't been hated her whole life why you think the woman's got 30 something aliases?"

BETH CHAPMAN'S WARNING

Even though Moon had been a close friend of the family for over 20 years, Beth warned her children about the woman. Beth believed that Moon was insinuating herself into the inner circle so she would be indispensable to the grieving Dog once she passed away.

Beth's instincts proved to be on the money. In December 2019, Lyssa posted a message on Twitter exposing Dog's relationship with Moon. She wrote:

"Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a “friend “ to, Is the lowest scum on the planet."

Lyssa pointed out that Moon, who is in her 50s - had originally met the family when she started dating one of Dog's sons. Cecily agrees with Lyssa, and even though the girls have since made up with their father, it is unlikely Moon will ever be accepted into the family.

Moon, who was Beth's assistant for many years is rumored to be living in Dog's house and sleeping in the late Mrs. Chapman's bedroom. Dog has frankly stated that he is not a man who can live alone, but he has vowed that there will never be another woman in his life who can replace Beth.

He does not, however, say that he will not be dating or living with another woman - perhaps Moon - in the near future. Hopefully, he will wait a little longer and give his daughters time to get used to the idea of another woman in his life.
