The "A Star Is Born" actress said that the "kindest/healthiest thing we can do is self-quarantine" and stay away from the elderly and crowds.
The singer herself chose to self-isolate to keep her parents and grandparents safe because the absence of symptoms does not mean a person is not a carrier.
Shows with studio audiences such as "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon," "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah," and "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" also chose to tape without a live audience.
The decision was made in line with the highly recommended social distancing as not to transmit the virus and have a higher chance of contamination.
COVID-19 POSITIVE CELEBRITIES
Hollywood celebrities were not spared from the life-threatening virus as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were among those affected while in Australia.
Thankfully, their condition improved, and the couple was discharged from Queensland hospital. The two are currently self-isolating in a rented Australian apartment.
Hanks and Wilson were in the country for the pre-production of Baz Luhrmann's untitled biopic of Elvis Presley.
Within their stay, the couple began to felt chills, body pain, and slight fever before being admitted to a hospital and testing positive for the virus.
