Kourtney Kardashian Shares Cryptic Bible Verse about Epidemics Amid Coronavirus Crisis
Kourtney Kardashian turned biblical during self-isolation in an appeal to all "children" to "pay attention" as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread worldwide.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star appealed to her followers by posting an excerpt from 2 Corinthians 7:13-14 in the Bible.
KOURTNEY'S CRYPTIC POST
Highlighting the text in yellow and circling it in red, Kourtney then added her own thoughts with three words, "pay attention children."
"Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people, if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing," the passage read. "Then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again."
KIM ADVOCATES FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING
Kourtney and her sisters are all self-isolating during this time, and Kim also made an appeal to her followers for them not to "ignore the severity of the warnings" alongside a picture she posted of herself and Kendall Jenner.
Going through, and organizing pictures on her phone had Kim missing her sisters, but they have self-quarantined separately. Even though it's difficult for Kim not being able to spend time with them, she knows how important it is, as she wrote:
"It’s hard but we have to do this for our safety and for everyone else’s. PLEASE do not ignore the severity of the warnings to stay inside."
WHY KOURTNEY CUT DOWN ON SCREENTIME
Before the pandemic, Kim and sister Khloe were at odds with Kourtney after she decided to pour less time and energy into filming their reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
However, during an interview with Health Magazine, Kourtney expressed her wish to focus more on things that bring her joy and spending more time with her kids.
Although Khloe and Kim don't appreciate Kourtney "setting boundaries" due to her obligations to the reality show, she is making the most of this time in self-isolation with her three children, Reign, Penelope, and Mason.
HOW KOURTNEY KEEPS BUSY DURING SELF-QUARANTINE
Keeping busy with "important stuff" while in self-isolation, like baking, reading, and dancing with her children, Kourtney recently posted another activity 5-year-old Reign had taken to during this time.
In an adorable video, Reign shared his meditating skills while sitting on the couch, still wearing his pajamas. Showing Kourtney's followers how to do "the real one," Reign took a breath before he counted the words, "Peace begin with me" on his fingers.
FANS DIVIDED AFTER KIM'S CORONAVIRUS POST
The cute share by Kourtney came shortly after Kim got fans riled up for posting a passage from a prediction made by the psychic Sylvia Browne.
In a book by Sylvia from 2008, she predicted that a "severe pneumonia-like illness" will spread worldwide "around 2020," and some fans didn't appreciate the possible implications it can have on people who are already "on edge," as one follower responded:
This is irresponsible ma’am. Smh. U have literally millions of ppl who follow u who r probably on edge, and sending an “end time” message from a PSYCHIC is just......— D.D. King (@LookatDee614) March 12, 2020
Other netizens, in turn, showed their disbelief in the trustworthiness of a psychic saying that they can predict adverse events, but not the lottery numbers. Even so, the prediction hit home for some, as another added:
Sylvia Browne was the best. She nailed it!!!— Angelina Hodge (@momalena) March 12, 2020
KOURTNEY'S CHILDREN HAVE THEIR OWN WONDERLAND
Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian's children are also able to live out their dreams and fantasies in a luxurious custom playhouse during this time in self-isolation.
While the structure is electronics-free, the playhouse costs $100,000, and it is designed to blend in with the beautiful yet simple gardens created for Kourtney.
