In the video, Joanna can be seen gathering the ingredients for the meal as she beckoned on Emmie to help her out. The "Fixer Upper" alum can also be heard listing out the step-by-step process while instructing her grown-up daughter to fill the pot.
As expected, her fans were excited to catch a glimpse of Emmie, who rarely appears on her mother's social media.
While one person expressed gratitude to Joanna for sharing the clip, another wrote that seeing the "We Are the Gardeners" author cook with her family was calming.
A third fan commented that she loved Joanna's family while a fourth person applauded her for mentioning "all the things you don't have and what you replaced them with."
As reported by CountyLiving Joanna's sweet post came at the same time that she let fans take a look at the cute moment that her 1-year-old son, Crew, had while playing on a mini pool table.
The video of Crew playing was followed by one of her husband, Chip Gaines, in the middle of a puzzle as he sang along to Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1970 song, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain."
As usual, Joanna's fans were quick to watch and drop their comments about the post. While many loved that she shared a clip of her husband, others were more in love with Crew playing on a mini pool table; Country Living reported.
