Sharon Osbourne is making no apologies for the comments she made towards "The Talk" co-host Marie Osmond on last Thursday's episode of the show.

Osbourne, 67, took to Instagram soon after the show aired to address the situation and explain herself. Once she did, many fans better-understood things from her perspective. The post is found below.

Marie and Sharon get heated on-air

During the segment, Osbourne and Osmond had a small argument after Osmond reportedly described being "intrigued" by the coronavirus pandemic.

Osbourne immediately disagreed with the word her co-host used, saying the situation was simply sad. Osmond then admitted that she used the wrong word.

Seemingly in hopes of mending things, she started saying that she was just like Osbourne. At that point, the "Osbourne Family" reality star cut her off to say, "I am NOTHING like you, Marie."

Sharon is not withdrawing her words

The 67-year-old's remarks landed her in hot water. On Instagram, she explained, "I would just like to say that we're all grown women, and we have different opinions."

"It certainly doesn't mean that we don't respect and love each other," she continued. "I'm sorry but I can't apologise for being overly emotional, otherwise I'm being fake and I don't do that very well."

With that, the tv personality encouraged her followers to remain indoors and safe amid the coronavirus. Several people in the comment section appreciated Osbourne's honesty and realness.

Marie and Sharon disagree again

The head-butting was not the first disagreement Osbourne and Osmond had in recent times. Towards the end of March, the pair shared different opinions on one royal couple's move to Los Angeles.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got their first days as non-senior royals underway by relocating from Canada to Los Angeles last week. Osbourne said she was "disappointed" by their decision.

She pointed out that Markle and Harry said they wanted to avoid UK paparazzi. However, by moving to LA, they were putting themselves right in the middle of more cameras.

In contrast, Osmond said she was proud of Harry for doing what he felt is right for his family. She implied that the prince was catering to Markle's wants, saying, "if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy."

Osbourne scared for family

Meanwhile, off the air, Osbourne is facing a challenge as her husband Ozzy's planned flight to Switzerland got delayed. The rock star was supposed to travel and get treated for Parkinson's.

Additionally, Osbourne's daughter Aimee had to get emergency surgery to have her appendix removed. Speaking on "The Talk" early last week, Osbourne said it was a "frightening time to be alive."
