Comedian Mike Epps shared a rare family picture with his father and brothers. Fans commented on the post and thought he looked just like his father.

Mike Epps had his family in mind when he shared a photo of two generations of the Epps family. The proud son of Tommy Epps and Marry Reed came from a large family of eight siblings.

Recently he showed off part of his family when he shared a picture of his dad and brothers gathered for a family portrait, in his caption, he revealed, "my dad and his sons."

Mike grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his mother after his parents split when he was younger. The comedian found his flair for entertaining as a way to get attention from parents.

His ability to stand out certainly paid off and helped launch his career on stage doing stand-up. One thing fans noted was that he got from his father's looks.

The comedian and his girlfriend, Kyra Robinson Epps, welcomed Indiana Rose in March 2020. Paying homage to his hometown, he chose to name her after the place he grew up in.

Shortly after his daughter's birth, the proud father took to Instagram to share a video of his newborn. In the post, which received over 1 million views he gushed:

Mike and Kyra had a lot to celebrate over the past year. Months before welcoming Indiana, they had a lavish wedding at a resort in Pelican Hill, California.

According to Essence, the couple tied the knot in front of 200 guests. Their wedding theme was a New York summer romance, which included tall trees, hundreds of bouquets, and amber lighting.

Indiana is the couple's first child together. Unlike the family he grew up in, where he had lots of brothers, Mike only has daughters.

In an interview with PEOPLE in 2016, he admitted to being an overprotective father to his girls and hoped for a son in the future.
