The past few weeks have been emotional for many people with all the stress and bad news amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Nearly every country has been on pause as many observe self-isolation to curb the spread of the deadly virus that has already infected more than one million people globally.
KELLY’S SELF-ISOLATION UPDATE
During the “Live with Kelly and Ryan” show on Wednesday, Kelly Ripa teared up as she revealed that some of her children “won’t hug her” while in quarantine at home.
The 49-year-old mom shared that she was “currently not speaking to two of my three kids,” but didn’t mention if it was her daughter Lola or sons, Michael and Joaquin. She said:
“I haven’t gotten to hug my parents. I want to hug my parents. And my kids like, won’t hug me. And I’m like, ‘Guys, we’ve all been in lockdown together.’”
“We’re fine. You can give me a hug,” Ripa continued to tell her kids, yet they refused. Ripa apologized to Ryan Seacrest, whom she was talking to through video chat, for being emotional.
LIFE ON PAUSE

The host’s father also delayed his knee surgery for safety reasons. Ripa acknowledged that the postponed events in her family’s life are small things compared to the problems several people are facing.
