Kelly Ripa Cannot Wait to Hug Parents as She Quarantines at Home
"LIVE with Kelly and Ryan" co-host Kelly Ripa took to social media to reveal just how much she misses her parents, amid self-isolation and the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Kelly Ripa recently took to her Instagram page to reveal how much she misses her parents and In-laws.
She shared a photo that featured her parents, Esther and Joseph Ripa, with her husband's parents, Camilla and Saul Consuelos.

In the photo taken in 2005, according to the date at the bottom right corner, the proud parents stood side by side, with the women on one side and the men on the other. She captioned the post:
"Cannot wait to hug these four. (Mother in law. Mom. Dad. Father in law) Will hug in any order or first come first serve, circa 2005."
Fans of Ripa could relate to her predicament as they took to the comments section to talk about how they feel about being cooped up in their houses, unable to meet their families.
A fan lamented: "My dad lives in WV, and I am in GA. I call them every day, though." The post comes hours after Ripa shared a childhood picture that saw her in a cloth that had the same color shade as her mother's.
Ripa switched topics to how the pandemic is delaying several family plans, including her son, Michael's graduation ceremony.
According to the talented talk-show host, the picture had been taken way back around 1975, and it featured the mother-daughter duo dressed in their Easter Sunday best as they smiled for the camera in front of a fully decorated window.
Young Ripa looked gorgeous in a frilly white dress with yellow color tones that matched her mom's suit color. Appreciating her mom's work, she captioned the post:
"A reminder you can still dress up for ZOOM church, notice how mom coordinated her suit to my bunny/bonnet/dress."
According to People, Ripa had reportedly been talking about how much she hated being away from her parents amid the mandatory quarantine brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Though she's been in her home self-isolating along with her kids and husband, the 49-year-old has revealed that she's been missing her other family members.
Speaking to her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, she shared that she misses the simple act of hugging her parents. She also admitted that she's currently not talking to two of her three kids, and they have refused to hug her.
As the episode progressed, Ripa switched topics to how the pandemic is delaying several family plans, including her son, Michael's graduation ceremony, and her dad's previously scheduled surgery.
Ripa, who, along with her husband, Mark Comsuelos, has donated a total of $1 million to aid the relief of those affected by the viral outbreak, hopes it will all be over soon so everyone can return to their different lives.
